The Good Guys Take
The Innocent Rosé 2019 has a distinctly Provençal look to it, and this lightly pressed wine is a revelation. Made from Syrah, Grenache and Mourvedre, it is a study in restraint. Red berries, citrus, herbs, remarkable acidity, summer and swimming pools, if there’s such a thing as a breakfast wine, then this is it.
TASTING NOTES
An elegant wine with hints of Turkish delight, Rose petals and attractive red berry notes. A juicy palate with well integrated natural acidity. The wine has a full mouth feel with a lingering aftertaste. Farmed dry-land, thus not irrigated. All grapes used are from our vineyards. The wine is made in true Provence style, from mostly Syrah. The bush vines are between 15 – 51 years old.
